Notes
All documents must be in English
HAWB must show actual true freight charges otherwise IATA rate will be applied as the Value for Customs at destination
Consignee is to be stated in full by importer of record, importers address, phone number and contact person
China Customs at origin require details of MAWB consignee and HAWB consignee tax i.d / VAT number to process export entry.
THE FOLLOWING HAS TO BE UNDERTAKEN PRIOR TO EXPORT AT ORIGIN
Voluntary Pre Shipment Inspection (PSI) / BIVAC to enable Angola Green Channel clearance at destination
Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) is not a mandatory requirement for imports into Angola however there is a voluntary PSI which also enables a Customs Green light Process to expedite destination improt clearance if pursued correctly. Voluntary PSI has to be arranged through Bureau Vertisas in the country of origin and by the commercial shipper, not their agent.
Once voluntary PSI // BIVAC is complete at origin, the inspecting agent issues the importer with a Clean Findings Report (C.F.R and known as ADV). Once the importer has received the C.F.R only then can they permit air export from country of origin where voluntary PSI / BIVAC took place.
