Aero Africa was proudly represented by Hamza Benzina, our North Africa Solutions Manager, at the Hispano-Moroccan Business Meeting in Morocco.
The IX Edition of the Hispano-Moroccan Business Meeting was organized by The Official Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Tangier on the 23rd and 24th of November 2022 at the Hotel Farah Tangier, under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Tourism of Spain, the Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy of Spain in Rabat, and with the support of Moroccan institutions and official bodies, under the theme “The Maritime Sector, Transport, and Logistics: A Lever Of Development And Competitiveness.”
The main representatives were from Spanish ports and transport and logistics companies based in Spain and Morocco. Their objective was to develop innovative transport solutions between Morocco and Europe and to continue to reinforce their presence in the Maghreb market.
Hamza seized the opportunity to be the only participant presenting airfreight solutions during a meeting that was mostly centered on ocean/road freight. Since the members already provide services from Europe to Morocco, Hamza proposed a cooperation in which Aero Africa would assist in airfreight operations from China/Asia to Europe, while the members would continue to provide the proceeding services from Europe to Morocco, thereby creating a combined “Air/Road services” product.
Although the primary focus of the event was not airfreight, Hamza had productive discussions with Morocco-based Spanish companies and was able to showcase the unique airfreight solutions that Aero Africa can offer to Moroccan members and to continue building relationships with the Spanish companies operating in North Africa.
