All documents must be in English

HAWB must show actual true freight charges otherwise IATA rate will be applied as the Value for Customs at destination

Consignee is to be stated in full by importer of record, importers address, phone number and contact person

China Customs at origin require details of MAWB consignee and HAWB consignee tax i.d / VAT number to process export entry.

Pre-shipment Verification of Conformity (PVoC) and Certificate of Conformity (CoC)
PVoC / PSI is not required for shipments of 1000 USD F.O.B value and under.
Pre-Shipment Verification of Conformity (PVoC) is required or all goods imported into Zimbabwe using Bureau Vertias.
Once PVoC is complete at origin, the inspecting agent issues an electronic Certificate of Conformity (CoC) and a copy is sent to the shipper.

The following goods are exempt from PVoC :

Charitable shipments, donations offered by foreign governments or international organizations to the government, to charities, to foundations and to philanthropic organizations recognized as being helpful towards the public, humanitarian goods imported by agencies like WFP, UNHCR, ICT, etc.

Imports for diplomatic entities and for United Nations organizations for their own use

Certificate of Origin is required for goods originating from COMESA and SADC member states

The following goods are subject to Conformity Assessment, which must be instigated by the exporter (oigin) with BIVAC :

Food and Agriculture (including Fertilizers, Confectionary, Biscuits, Beverages, Snacks)

Building products (including Cement, Portland cement, Pipes, Plumbing accessories, Door Frames, Sanitary ware, Ceramic tiles,

Steel bars for reinforcement of concrete)

Petroleum and fuel (including Paraffin Stoves and Heaters, Gas containers, Candles, Lubricants)

Packaging material (including Packaging for contact with food)

Electrical/electronic products (including Electrical and electronic appliances, Fluorescent lamps, Starters, Ballasts,

Energy saving lamps, Solar panels, Photovoltaic products)

Body care and health products (including Cosmetics, Sanitary pads, Baby diapers, Detergents)

Automotive and transportation (including Tyres, Brake pads, Other vehicles parts, Motor vehicles)

Clothing and textile (including Blankets, Clothing and textile products, Shoes, Cotton cords and yarns)

Goods of F.O.B value 1000 Usd and under along with the following goods are exemprt from Conformity Assessment :
