Import airline handling is charge based on per piece rather than per kilo.
We advise that where possible, you re-pack loose pieces onto shrink wrapped pallets to reduce total AWB shipment piece count.

Cape Town (CPT) is well served by international wide body flights during the peak tourist season however has limited international
flights during the low tourist season.

JNB-CPT by road feeder service is very economical however has an approx airport to airport transit time of two days.
It is worthwhile considering sending CPT destined shipments on the JNB consol and then having JNB hub arrange onforwarding to CPT.
Contact Aero Africa for the JNB hub DAP and onforwarding services info pack.

For any shipments which will be onforwarded by JNB hub ex JNB arriving, please ensure HAWB shows :
airport of destination as Cape Town (CPT) with comment in handling info box to read : Shipment in transit to Cape Town
JNB consol MAWB to show airport of destination as Johannesburg (JNB) with supporting consol manifest.

For all European Union (EU) origin shipments
Under the European Union Free Trade Agreement (EFTA), all goods of EU origin must have an accompanying EUR1 certificate with shipment
in order for consignee to receive preferential import duty at time of destination customs entry.
