Operational notes and suggestions
Import airline handling is charge based on per piece rather than per kilo.
We advise that where possible, you re-pack loose pieces onto shrink wrapped pallets to reduce total AWB shipment piece count.

Durban (DUR) has a limited number of international widebody flights therefore it is worthwhile considering sending shipment to JNB,
and thereafter local road feeder service can be arranged JNB-DUR.
Contact Aero Africa for the JNB hub DAP and onforwarding services info pack.

For any shipments which will be onforwarded by JNB hub ex JNB arriving, please ensure HAWB shows :
airport of destination as Durban (DUR) with comment in handling info box to read : Shipment in transit to Durban
JNB consol MAWB to show airport of destination as Johannesburg (JNB) with supporting consol manifest.

For all E.E.C origin shipments
Under the European Union Free Trade Agreement, all goods of EU origin must have an accompanying EUR1 certificate with shipment
in order for consignee to receive preferential import duty at destination.
