HAWB must show actual true freight charges otherwise IATA rate will be applied as the Value for Customs
Consignee is to be stated in full by name of importer, importers address, phone number and contact person
China Customs at origin require details of MAWB consignee and HAWB consignee tax i.d / VAT number to process export entry.
THE FOLLOWING HAS TO BE UNDERTAKEN PRIOR TO EXPORT AT ORIGIN
Pre-shipment Verification of Conformity (PVoC) and Certificate of Conformity (CoC)
Pre-Export Verification of Conformity program applies for shipments with commercial value of 4,000 EURO or more.
If the shipment is LESS than 4,000 EURO, the inspection will be done upon arrival in Cotonou.
Commercial shipper is fully responsible for arranging PVoC at origin through Benin approved inspection agents prior to air export.
Benin approved PVoC verification agents include CCI, Bureau Veritas, Cotecna and SGS
