As we proudly celebrate Aero Africa’s 6th anniversary, we take a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come since our incorporation in 2018. What started as a bold idea by a group of air cargo and logistics veterans has blossomed into a leading air cargo management group that spans three continents and provides innovative solutions to meet the growing demands of the African logistics market.
Today, Aero Africa stands at the forefront of African logistics, driven by a clear vision: to offer comprehensive, neutral air cargo solutions across the African continent. In just six years, we have grown into a global enterprise with a team of over 50 air freight logistics professionals, 8 offices globally, an African network of partners in 83 airports, and strategic partnerships with the leading cargo airlines, consolidators, and freight forwarders.
Our journey has been marked by strategic milestones and a deep commitment to innovation, service quality, and collaboration. These principles have helped Aero Africa cement its reputation as a key player in the air cargo space, both in Africa and beyond.
A Vision That Took Flight
Aero Africa was founded in Hong Kong in 2018, with the goal of revolutionizing the way air cargo logistics were managed across Africa. From the beginning, we saw a significant gap in the market—a lack of neutral, reliable, and comprehensive air cargo solutions tailored to the continent’s unique logistical challenges.
Backed by decades of experience in the logistics sector, our founding team understood that Africa, with its rapidly growing economies and emerging trade lanes, required tailored logistics solutions that went beyond traditional models. The continent was (and still is) experiencing a surge in demand for faster, more efficient shipping solutions, driven by increased global trade and e-commerce. Aero Africa was built to answer that call.
Our initial vision quickly evolved into a comprehensive suite of services designed to help streamline the entire supply chain—from neutral airfreight wholesale & brokerage to BSA consolidations, and from African final mile logistics to project logistics and time-critical services. We believed in offering a one-stop solution for clients that required efficient, cost-effective, and innovative logistics tailored specifically for Africa.

Global Expansion
Over the past six years, Aero Africa has expanded its reach to 8 offices and control towers in key locations, including offices in Africa, China , Europe, and the Middle East. Our African operations are supported by strategically located control towers, which ensure real-time coordination, efficiency, and support for all our partners. This global presence has allowed us to strengthen our capabilities and provide comprehensive support for businesses seeking to expand their trade with Africa.
Strong Partnerships with Global Airlines, Consolidators and Freight Forwarders
One of the most significant achievements during our journey has been the formation of strong partnerships with the world’s biggest airline partners, consolidators and global freight forwarders. These partnerships have enabled us to enhance our service offerings and secure competitive rates, seamless transit, and reliable capacity across major global gateways. Our success in managing long-term Block Space Agreements (BSA) with carriers and collaborating with like-minded neutral consolidators globally, has allowed us to remain competitive, reliable, and efficient in the market.

We have consistently expanded our footprint across strategic locations to better serve our clients with offices in key markets, including China and Middle East. Our growth continues to mirror our commitment to delivering top-tier logistics solutions. This expansion is complemented by a substantial increase in our workforce, reflecting our dedication to service quality. Our talented team of logistics professionals remains at the core of our success, and we are committed to investing in their ongoing development and growth.
Handling Massive Volumes and Complex Shipments
Since our inception, we have handled millions of tons of cargo, representing a significant achievement in managing diverse and complex air freight operations. These numbers highlight our capacity to handle intricate logistics solutions of every shape or size, across Africa, and the trust that our clients place in us.
Challenges Turned into Opportunities
Despite the successes, we recognise that our journey has not been without challenges. Africa’s logistics landscape is unique, and doing business on the continent often involves navigating underdeveloped infrastructure, stringent regulations, and fragmented markets. However, these challenges have only driven us to innovate and refine our solutions to overcome these hurdles.
For example, in our final mile logistics services, we’ve tackled difficult and remote destinations in Africa—servicing 85+ hard-to-reach destinations. These final mile services ensure that shipments, whether they are time-critical or oversized cargo, reach their destination efficiently and reliably, even in the most challenging circumstances.
This capacity to innovate and address logistical challenges head-on is what has allowed us to excel, and it remains a core strength that sets Aero Africa apart in the market.
